One of the very few Luxembourgish players abroad starts into his season this Friday. Thomas Grün goes into his second season with SLUC Nancy and it will be a decisive one for his career and future development.

Thomas Grün will play the Trophée du Futur this weekend with his team from SLUC Nancy. In fact, this event features the top 8 teams of the French Espoirs Championat in a direct elimination contest.
Grün will play against SIG Strasbourg tonight at 20h30 in the Quarter-Finals. During the regular season, both teams have won against each other once. Strasbourg though finished at the top of the Ranking while Nancy was 6th after the regular season.

After several seasons with Urspring Accademy in Germany, the  Luxembourgian player Thomas Grün has found an agreement with SLUC Nancy. The 19 year old guard will mainly play for the Espoirs Team of the French club but he will practice with the professional team as well and might get a spot in the ProA roster in case of injuries of the non-JFL players.
